An excellent holiday home located in this small southern Italian town in Calabria.

I used this flat to host some friends and relatives on holiday and it was an excellent choice.

In the town there are 4-5 restaurants (one in the same building), supermarkets and small grocery shops on the same street and a cosy little square with a small park. The sea is clean and on a clear day it was possible to see Sicily and the volcano of Stromboli, the free beaches were equipped with showers and small kiosks where you can eat during the summer.

The flat, located on the first floor (no lift) is very large with two balconies and newly renovated, with four rooms (one at the time of the visit still under renovation). There is an eat-in kitchen equipped with plates, cutlery, induction hob and oven and a table with chairs for dining and breakfast. Everything is furnished in a modern style, simply and very cleanly. There are two large bathrooms both with shower and hairdryer.
The rooms, including the single room, were spacious and equipped with a wardrobe and chest of drawers, smart TV and air conditioning. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished. Friends who stayed were very pleased, also with the proximity to the free beaches and the restaurant below with café service for breakfast or lunch when they didn't feel like cooking.

Some information about the place

Lamezia terme is a town with a train station, international airport and motorway junction so excellent for travel for those wishing to explore the country and needs a convenient facility.

The flat is strategically located close, but not too close to be annoying, to these infrastructures and in 10 minutes walk we arrived at the sea. Having the car it was also possible to spend a day in Tropea and Pizzo calabro which are very close and can also be reached by train.
